05-07 Header Panel with 00 Bumper

All,

My truck needs a new header panel, and I'm looking to buy one. I have plans to retrofit the 05-07 light assembly, but don't plan on updating my bumper. Will I have any issues if I go ahead and order the 05-07 header panel?

Thanks,

David

You will have to cut the 05-07 grille to match the older bumper. Other than that, I dont see any issues.

The 99-04 bumper will not work w/ the 05-07 header panel. The 05 header panel is taller to accommodate the newer 05 grille. I know because I made this mistake......

This is exactly what I was wondering about. I'm aware of the difference in grill height but wasn't sure about the header panel. Thanks for the info.

Thanks to you both for the replies.
