thoughts on adding marker lights
i was thinking of adding some amber marker lights under the doors, and a few red lights in between the tailgate and bumper. i have an ex cab, so i was thinking 5 evenly spaced amber markers under the doors. and a group of three red lights centered under the tailgate. i've seen a couple sweet looking super dutys with that big rig lights look. any input would be helpful.
thanks, travis |

I've got an led "id bar" as they call them, (3 red lights in the middle of the back) and it looks awesome. I'm wanting to put some chicken lights under the doors but I can't decide which style lights to get. I don't want them to look too gawdy...

For the back I put a set of 3 leds in the middle then 1 on each side out towards the tail lights.

your right its called an id bar. as for the amber lights under the doors, they would go on the very bottom of the rocker panel on that narrow flange. i was thinking like 4 or 5 evenly spaced. i don't know, is there a standard/basic way to give the super duty that big rig look?

I bought a little LED strip of lights off ebay to put under my tailgate. It's only about 10" long with a single row of leds. Just tapped the wiries into the running lamps on the tail lights. Think it was like $20
