I seen everything but what i am looking for

I want to remove the dent strips on the doors. the body molding that protects you doors from some body opening there door into yours. Are they just stuck on or will i find holes behind them? Has any body taken thers off suggestions welcome.

they are stuck on with glue. just pull them off, and put googone, scrape and repeat

THANK YOU I have read front end conversions headlight conversions wheel and tire taillights even molded in stacks. I could not find that THANKS again

Ya if there hard to remove use a heat gun, it will take them right off and leave very little sticky residue on the doors.

its gonna make the paint behind them different then the rest of the truck right? i mean it hasnt been exposed to anything, sun, water, dirt, anything like that

It wont be too different just clean it up real good and wax the truck and it shouldnt be too different, of course it will be slightly becuase it hasnt been exposed to the sun like the rest of the paint but it wont look bad. When I removed them I used a hairdryer and then wax and adhesive remover

Be careful I did that to mine and on the passenger side door it took the paint right with it and I did all of the precautions and it still didn't help.

you have to get them real hot so they peel off. I did it when I lived in arizona in the summer so that wasn't difficult

i took mine off....

easiest way i found was take one of those plastic straps they use to close a large box and sort of fish wire it and use a up and down motion to cut between the double sticky tape it has on their.... after i just used some goo gone and it came right off

I am taking those off the pinstripe and the 4x4 offroad. Ialso have stainles rocker protectors that i am not sure what i am doing with. They are like 5" wide and run the bottom of truck.
