Amp steps operating on their own

So I love the steps, they operate just fine 90% of the time. However about an hour after I shut the truck off they lower on their own until I remote start the truck, or open and close a door. Amp seems to think it's related to the Viper/Clifford Alarm, so I bypassed it and it still does it. Everything else operates just fine without glitch.

I'm sure it's related to the accessory delay feature for our trucks. Has anyone had a similar issue?

found this thread doing a search, mine did the same thing and it was the alarm connection in the door back feeding the steps.

Use a diode on your door trigger wire or dome light (black/blue) between your Amp steps and alarm
