Anyone paint their exterior Trim?

I have the brown exterior trim on my White Excursion and I am getting a Black 24' enclosed trailer this weekend.....

Anyone tried painting their exterior trim yet, maybe use some plastic primer to help it bond?

Just wanted to paint it black so it went better with the trailer.

Have you ever painted anything before? I did my cut-out flares, rollpan, and shaved my rear bumper about a month ago. There is a product called bulldog, its a flex agent and adhesion promoter. This will allow the paint to flex some instead of cracking and flaking. Black isnt the easiest color to work with, maybe do white to match the rest of the truck???

You'd have an easier time painting the trailer to match the truck. The darker the paint - the harder it is to get right

Send a message via Yahoo to bigcountrysg
Linex or rhinoline the rocker panels. Easier and will last longer. Much better investment.

Is there an edge under the exterior trim or is it just flat sheet metal?

If you are referring to my car it doesn't have black racing stripes, only the front fascia, hood, and sides of the car have black on them...the rest is the factory Red.
