Heated Mirrors?

I just bought a pair of new towing mirrors that are powered and heated. I originally have the smaller mirrors on my truck that are power but not heated. My question is will the heat automatically work once I get them installed or will I need to install a new switch or anything?

you will have to wire them up and put in a switch. I will likely be doing this project in a couple weeks

Also if I plug them in without doing the wire up then just the power should work right?
