08 tailgate install question

I just put an 08 tailgate on my truck. Got it on without a problem. The only thing is that the passenger side sticks out past the bed about a half inch or so...

The drivers side is fine...

Here's the finished product.

My question is, is there an adjustment to pull the tailgate in closer on the side that sticks out? Any help is appreciated.

i just put one on mine too, i adjusted striker to get mine to fit right , the torx bolt in the side of the bed , it comes loose and you can move it in some

ive been nwaitin for that birdie to fly over my house! no body crashed 08 trucks here lol. And i cant afford to get a new one, i dont care if it has the step, itd be ice...but as ling as it says superduty across the bottom im happy

i got the one with the step up, i wanted that one because of the lift , man its great and didnt have to buy anthing , just put it on with slight modification to drivers side mount , made sure it fit and adjusted it , its in the paint both as we speak
