Just wondering if i can put 03 mirrors with the turn signal and heat in my truck i got the tow ones but not with the signal and heated. So does it work and hows the wiring?

I've been wanting to do this myself. either teh 03 style, or the new 08's. I believe they are all the same bolt pattern and shape. I assume I can just tap into the existing wiring, I know the wires aren't already there for them. So it'd take soem wiring, but it can be done. I just haven't taken the step to buy em yet.

IIRC you can tap into the wiring for the signals, and you can get a 4wd switch out of a exploder that has the rear defrost button on it, and use that for the mirror defrost.

I heard the mirrors auto defrost for a few seconds everytime you turn the truck on...

Mirrors are always on defrost.

I put signal mirrors in my '02. The wiring is pretty easy if your somewhat familiar with wiring and you have some patience. A friend of mine helped me and we were done within a couple of hours. We tapped the signal and running light wires into the harness under the dash and spliced in the connectors.
