Headlight swap

My truck is an XL model and has the glass type headlight. I want to swap to the regular 99-04 plastic type lenses or maybe the 05-07 type. Do they use the same wiring harness or is there a conversion adapter I can buy?

I am in the same boat, I have looked and I am not sure but you should be able to use a test light if not and figure out which wires go where.

I'm not 100% sure on the pin out of the sealed beam, but I think it is the same as the 9007 if the center pin is at the 10 o'clock position, the 3 o'clock is high, 9 o'clock is low, the center is ground.
