2013 bumper with 05 grill on 02

Just wondering if anyone else has done this. Just finished installing bumper now i have a gap between bumper and grill because the bumper sticks out a bit. Was just wondering if anyone has put an 05 grill on this type of setup. 2013 bumper with 05 grill on 02-imageuploadedbyag-free1384741251.830122.jpg

Oh yeah and getting the tow hooks to work was fun.... Had to heat them with two torches. Bend them straight. Then flip them and use nuts on the top. Didn't get a pic of that though

It actually doesn't look horrible. Honestly, I don't think an 05 grille would fit in the gap.

Ah i need a better angle to show what i mean. If looking down per say standing in front of it the bumper sticks out about an inch or so in front of the grill. Either way i got a line on a nice harley black and chrome grill. Gonna try it out

Hit me up if you need any info. It took a little bit of fabing tbh. It was not as straight forward as I've read

Thought it looked pretty easy really. The lines of the 2 bumpers are almost the same.

I saw somewhere someone put a 2012 bumper on a 05. Couldn't tell from the pics but it looked like it worked out.

It doesnt meet with the curve of the fender but it still looks cool. I had to take a soldering gun and heat plastic brackets to bend them 90 degrees for the 02 fog lights. Trim and drill holes to make them bolt up inside bumper
