99-02 vs 05-07 Bull Bar Installation

Does anyone know if a 05-07 bull bar will mount up to a 99-02 SD? Looks like it mounts up to the tow hook mounting positions. I just bought this truck so I'm learning....

Nice to know, do you lose the tow hooks? or does it mount beside it?

The mounting brackets mount to the two bolts at the tow hooks. The brackets actually have a slot cut for the tow hook to go through. So no, you don't lose the tow hooks. It took me all of about 15 mins to install. Four bolts out, two brackets on, four bolts in. Very simple to do.
