02 to 05 recon headlights?

lookin at getting a set of recon headlights, the OEM ones are getting pretty dingy and figure i might as well upgrade.ive done some shoppin around and settled on recons rather than a knock off or cheap set. the 02 ones look great but i liked the set they have for 05s a bit better but for $100 more on recons site i figured it wasnt worth it. i found some later from a vendor on amazon for only $20 more but not sure how involved or how different it would be from a straight across swap form OEM to OEM. yall have any thoughts?

Found this older topic and decided to post a reply in case anybody is looking to get Recon lights. The biggest advantage of the lights are the projector lenses, they actually provide a better focused beam which slightly improves the visibility. The light output is the same as they use similar halogen bulbs, however you can convert them to modern LED, with a help of conversion bulbs.
You can check Recon headlights for Ford trucks on our site: Recon | Truck LED Lighting, Headlights, Tail Lights - CARiD.com and let me know if you have any questions!
