07-10 Grill on an 01???

Does anyone know if you can put an '07-'10 grill on an '01? If so, how difficult is it?

07 grill does fit but requires some modifications.
you have to cut some off of the bottom of the grill.

I think he is referring to the grill on the front of a 6.4 truck. Some people get confused since that motor came out in 07. 05-07 grille will fit your truck, but with slight modification. The 08-10 grille will NOT fit without changing so much like the fenders, hood, headlights, bumper, grille, radiator support and modifications are needed to the front of the frame also. Basically you need the entire front clip of an 08+ truck to get that look.

I found a place that sells rattle can match paint and did it myself, doing a gloss white I'd say plasti dip would be a good option, 2 weeks so far no problems.

That's exactly what my truck used to look like! As for rattle can painting.... I wouldn't do it but I'm picky about my trucks appearance. It's worth the extra money to have it professionally painted, IMO. You can save a bunch of money buy completely prepping the parts to be painted so this way the painter just has to tack rag the parts and shoot the paint on. Might even be able to talk directly a local painter in your area and work out a deal where he can paint them for you on his spare time. I used to make lots of money doing this very same thing. Hard for a guy to pass up a deal where he walks in, shoots the paint, cleans his gun and is out the door. It's really easy to make a cheap and easy temporary paint booth in your garage with just plastic used to cover entire cars...
