air bag suspension

i was just wondering if anyone has an air bag suspension set up in their truck. i'm thinking about getting it, for the occasional long haul. i've found 2 so far and was wondering if there is one that is better than the other. the first one i found is air lift LoadLifter 5000 Rear; Leaf Spring Leveling Kit. the second one is firestone's air rite kit. the basic setup for both are same, air bags, compressor, gauge. the cost is a little different, both companies want about $250 for the bags and mounting hardware, but the guage/compressor packages are different, firestone wants another 250, where as air lift is only 150ish.
sorry for the novel, but any input or advice would be greatly appreciated

I just had a set of the firestone bags put on. They work great. I was really impressed w/ how fast the bags aired up!

I run firestone on both trucks with Viair compressors and tanks....AirLift is another good one

Do the air bags smooth out the ride at all with no weight on? I got some bags from work and was gona put them on but I don't tow that much weight drift boat and quads .

Look'em up on the web. that's what I did, you won't get the $mark-up$ at the auto parts store, and they have fast shipping. If you have a Question you can talk to the man.........FIRESTONE......... DJM (above) they don't smooth out anything, just take the sag out of your rear end with a heavy load.
