Headlight and Grille Question

I have a 2001 Ford F250 with a 7.3 liter obviously. haha. I am wondering what all it takes to put the 05 and up grille and headlights on. Do I need new fenders to accomodate the shape of the lights? I have not payed attention if they are the same shape or anything. And do I need the front bumper as well? Thanks for the help.

The only thing you will need is the header panel to make the new lights fit. If your feeling a bit DIY there is a write up here somewhere that shows how and where to cut your existing header panel so everything fits just right. It all pretty much just bolts on, you can keep your old fenders

Heres a pic of the headlights and grille on my '02. The grille uses the same top mounting points as your stock grille but youll have to fab up some lower mounts. Mine currently has zipties until i can figure out something else. The headlights use the lower mounting points from the signals on your stock headlights and the upper hardware can be bought from Ford. Your stock header panel has the mounting holes on the top for the 05+ lights.

your truck looks sick man. isn't that the base model grille? im only assuming because the base model grilles come black and I know you wanted that look. im wondering how it would look on my truck. on yours it does not make it look like a base model because it is red and has nice contrast but it might make mine look base because its white. any thoughts?

My grille is off a work truck but thats the look i was going for. I hate chrome so when i did the front end conversion i did all black. Im having my front bumper painted soon and im going to do the upper pad red and have the part thats normally chrome on the '05 bumpers painted black also.

This is a local guy with a black grille and Harley lights on a white truck.

I like theclear turn signals on his mirrors. I want to put those mirrors on my truck too(the ones with turn signals) i have the tow mirrors, but since my truck is an 01 it didnt have the turn signal option.

Mines an '02 so i didnt have them either so i bought some off of ebay. Theyre not OEM but to me they look identical and function just as well as OEM mirrors. I paid $309 for them.
