55w HIDs in fog lights?

I know they say it isn't a good idea to run 55w bulbs in the fog lights because it is too much heat. I was just wondering if anyone has done it and experienced any problems with it or none at all. Retro Solutions only offers 55w ballasts which is why I'm asking.

Thanks

Charlie

I just don't want to have to get 55w for the headlights and 35w for the fogs because there is a color difference from what I have heard, not much, but noticeable.

I have 55 watt in my foglights and have been running them for about a year...the only issue I have had with them is while plowing snow, I somehow managed to get a huge snow ball up underneath the bumper and jiggled a light out....still worked and I didn't realize it until the damn light melted all the way through the fog light assembly...that's more of a dumb *** issue than a light issue... they are bright as hell.
