Parking light removal

Can anybody tell me if the parking lights can be removed without taking the headlights out? I was just watching a video that shows how simple they are to remove but when I tried it, mine aren't coming out. I noticed that the headlight in the video is loose and I'm thinking I might have to take it at least partially out...

Yes, they can. Don't what video you watched, but I watched on from 1AAUTO to refresh my memory. In the video, it seems that it came real easy. In my experience, some times the pins on each end of the lens assembly can be pains in the backside. Once the screws are out, I had to pull on it firmly to get the pins to pop out. Maybe your pins are being difficult. The headlight doesn't need to be loosened or taken out.

Darryl, that's the vid I watched and they make it look easy but it's not on my truck. I'm replacing the headlights, too, I just figured I'd see if I could get the parking lights off and make it two separate projects.

Now I'm going to do both at the same time but I'm stuck trying to get the headlight out. I've got the clips off the top but squeezing the tabs on the bottom connector and sliding it out is a PITA and I've been unsuccessful, so far.

Tony, I couldn't get your vid to work but it was a different 1A vid specifically dealing with the super duty that I've already been watching.
