To me, you can't go wrong with either. And I know that Zone lift is made in the US, and not sure about the RC.

Both will not ride as nice as a Icon 4.5" hanger lift......you get what you pay for.

Sounds like they were not V codes..so you can get new ones and do a hanger kit or for the best riding lift springs you can look at Icon.

BDS and other lift springs don't have a good track record.

I understand "ICON" may be the cream here but its not my daily driver. I have a 2013 dodge ram for that. I didn't want to spend an arm and a leg for a good 4" lift. that's why I didn't say anything about icon. I think its either zone or bds and this point

on my 04 I just pulled the trigger on a bds 4" with fox shocks upgrade if that helps you out at all.
I like ther lifetime warantee nno questions asked and everyone i have talked to with this set up loves it. so for the research i have done it seems to fit my needs better than any other set up I have found.
just my two cents

early 04 f350 6.0 cclb lariat sr
Bulletproof oil &egr, elc, sct x3, edge CTS, afe intake, blue spring, t-500, MTW stage 2, Vivians looney, 305 x55x20 bfg at ko's, 4 inch cat back, 4"BDS fox shocks and steering stabilizer, tri pilar gauge set, sinister coolant filter(this is the ONLY pos sinister product that will ever be on my truck), riff raff boots, new headliner, 7 inch touch screen w/back up, new carpet, near whole new interior,
