Tire clearance...?

I know this question has been asked before, but I really want to be sure about it before I go and drop big bucks on 35" tires that wont fit my truck.
I used to have a plow on my truck, so the front leaf springs arent in the best of shape. I just purchased a 2.5" leveling kit and want to run 35" tires, will they fit? And which brand? It seems to me that when I turn my wheel all the way to the left and measure the space from the tire to the plastic liner of the wheelwell on the drivers side there is only about 2.5"s which doesnt seem like its going to get much bigger even with the leveling kit. Some 315/75/16 tires Ive seen fluctuate from 34.5" to 35". If 35"s dont clear, I guess Ill have to settle for 33"s....
thanks

Stick them on there. They will fit. I have been running 37's and a 4" lift for years...
