Question Wax In Plastic On Bumper

I did some minor detailing today after a wash & when I got finished with the chrome polish on the back bumper, I noticed the white residue it leaves if you get it on the plastic. I've had problems with this on other vehicles I've owned, but never found the cure. Does anyone know what I can get or use to remove the wax out of the plastic?

I've always used one of the "black out" products for plastic trim. Heck, fuel may work and it will smell good too!
