Nerf bar bracket

I have a 2002 F250 crew cab that's missing a nerf bar on the passenger side. I have the nerf bar that was on it, as it was knocked off after a 18 wheeler threw a tread. What I'm in need of is two of the mounting brackets that mount the bar to the truck. Everyone I've called said that they don't sell brackets, and that I'd have to buy new nerf bars (buying one cost the same as two).

Anyone know where I could get two brackets? I've tried scrap yards, with no luck. Any advise would be appreciated. I'm currently trying to form something up that will work, but would prefer the real deal.
