Tow mirror question

I have a 99 f350 and I bought a set of 02 tow mirrors. My truck had the paddle style mirrors and uses the white round plug but the 02 tow mirrors have the gray square plug. And the paddle mirrors have 3 wires and the 02 mirrors have 4 (2 are the same color). Is there an adapter that I can get somewhere or will I have to hard wire them in and do the process of checking each wire to make sure it's wired to the right one? I did some searching but didn't come up with anything. I called a couple auto parts stores, a ford dealership and alligator performance and none of them had one. Thanks
