Fender flare opinions

I just ordered the bushwacker pocket style, putting them on next week, will send a pic once complete. It's almost a 2" over-hang. I'm thinking it will be a little to much with the tire I'm running. IMO, looking head on the truck, drawing a line from the fender to the outermost part of the tire is best. If its straight top to bottom or from top angling outwards towards the ground you can't go wrong.

Unless you're going for the pre-runner look and functionality.

If you have plans to go with a wider tire or aftermarket wheel I would wait to do the flares. If you put them on now it might not look balanced. Just my two cents.
