What size and kind of tires.

I'm running 285/75 r16 on my truck. I was curious if I could run bigger and what tire everyone has and prefers. Thanks!

For a 2000 truck, you may already be at your limit with the 285's unless you lift it a little or use different wheels. I'm not sure, so hopefully someone who does know will chime in.

I am running 315/75/16 on stock wheels and a leveling kit. They rub the leafs at full lock. I believe for a stock truck, without any rubbing issues, on stock wheels 285's are going to be the max.

I am currently running the Goodyear Wrangler Duratracs. Have about 50K miles out of them and there is still enough tread to get me through the summer.

The Duratracs are running in the low $200's for some 285's. Tire Rack or Tread Depot are pretty good places to get tires online if you have a local shop that can mount them for cheap.
