To POR 15 or not?????

I need alternatives or an opinion on my idea to black out the front and rear of my truck. I would like to take my front bumper and rear (chrome) and ruff/sand, then apply POR 15 once dry then paint black. I canít see spending more $.$$ on replacement parts when I have them, so why not just coat them and then paint.

Yeah! I second that, Plasti-dip. And now they also have a glossifier also to make it shiney. Even if you try it to see if you like the look. If you don't you can peel it off and if you do like it peel it off and paint it permanent. Good Luck man.
