What color is this?

Im looking at buying my first super duty.

2001 Ford F-350 SD





From the picture it is a really odd color. Im not sure if its just the pictures, or if it really is an ugly color. The dealer has it listed as the color "teal."

If you guys could tell me what color code it is and then post some pictures of one in the same color, that would be great. I just want to know what other "customized" powerstrokes in this same color would look like.

If you didn't look at the add, it is a 2001 F-350 XLT cclb with 116,000 miles. The dealer is asking $12999. Now if only I could get my GMC sold before its gone...

Check on the sticker on the door! It will tell you the color code! Or PM me the vin and i can tell you! That is the exact color im painting my truck!

Its over 300 miles away and a 5 hour drive! I live in Alaska, things are not always accessible... lol

Thanks for the reply though. I guess what im really looking for is other trucks painted this color to see how it looks.

IDK what color it is called but I love this color.

early 99 Red F-250 XL SD, 7.3L, 6-speed manual, Extended Cab, Long Bed, 4x4 Off Road, and Reflexxion Cowl Hood, Ion Alloy 183 wheels, 05 headlights with 6000k AC HID kit, and led turn signals, Ford ASI filter w/ zoodad mod and foam sleeve, TS 6 position chip, Auto Meter Z series Boost and EGT gauges, and straight pipe oem exhaust. .

Wow, that island blue is a really pretty color!



If you guys are correct and the truck I am interested in is Island metallic blue, then the pictures just must be crappy. I've got $7000 saved up, hopefully it will still be for sale in a month when I can come up with the coin...


I've always paid cash for vehicles, what are your guys opinion about purchasing now with $7000 and making payments for the rest, if everything checks out of course with the truck. I suppose maybe I could get it for $11000? from the dealer
