2012 box or 2008 box

I need a new box for my 03.
I have found an 08 box that is in great shape with a bumper for $2000.
The guy down the road from me sells take off's from the new body style for the same price.
I just don't know if I would like the look of the new box with the old front end and I really don't want to pay the money to convert the front end to the new body style.

You guys have any thoughs or pics?

So here's the deal.
I find out about a new style box on Friday $1,600.00
Tail gate $350.00
Rear bumper $150.00
Front clip from an F550. Which includes single cab and doors. $1,750
I will have to source head lights as the clip is not sold with them.

The fender flares will have to be pulled and the holes in the fenders filled and painted.
I have sold my box for $600.00.
If I can get $200 for the old front clip $150 for the old tail gate and $1,000.00 for the 2013 single cab and doors, my out of pocket would only be $1,950.00, plus head lights, new style mirrors, paint for my cab doors, grill, fenders and both bumpers.
I am thinking $4,000.00 should get me a new body style truck.

If all works out and it a go I will start a build thread.

I'm in Ontario Canada. I have found a guy that buys take off boxes, I am headed over later today to put a deposit on a new style box. The front clip is from a F550, the company builds armored vehicles.

I just dropped off my deposit for the box. I stand corrected its $2,500.00 for the short box and $1,600.00 for the long box.

I am getting ready to do the same thing. I bought a new takeoff 2013shortbox with tailgate (w/step) for $1000. I am working on getting the hood, grille front bumper and rear bumper for $300. Still looking for a deal on fenders, headlights and mount panel.
