05+ Grill Only Mod

I got my grill in the mail today and started working on it as soon as I got home from work. It took me from around 7:30pm-10pm to finish it and have it on my truck. I'm going to write a "How-To" because I took so many pictures as I was doing this. The only tools I used were needle nose plyers and a dremel. I needed a roll of masking tape, and also blue painters tape as well as a sharpie.

Here are the pictures. (There are some before car wash, during car wash {hence the Quadzilla Commander Pictures}, and after car wash). After doing all that cutting and fitting, I was too lazy to wash it myself.

I'll be working on writing up a How-To tomorrow at work.

**What's the best format for a How-To with multiple pictures?**
Would MS Word work?

UPDATED PICS

Thanks

It really wasn't too hard. I could almost do another one with my eyes closed.....not really...

I'm very surprised how smooth it went. Piece of cake. That dremel is awesome!

I hope I didnt miss something along the way while reading this post. But you can get an 04-07 OEM tooled grill for a 99-2003 on ebay for $299 + $18 for shipping (Not a cheapy or poor quality) . Thats what im going to do after I get my chip & exhaust. Ive seen a couple, & it looks like it was placed there from the factory, they guys that did these up did a kickass job. If you go on ebay to look it up, just type in ford grill, or ford grill conversion.

Nice job with your grill, looks good.

I looked at that and was very close to buying it until I found a used grill for less than $100. With the money I saved I can have a grill AND HID's for the price of the grill on ebay.

I'm just tryin to help some folks save a little money, everyone loves to save money, don't they?
