You did a great job on the grille and the writeup. Contemplating doing this myself but with a black grille. One question tho, is the Ford emblem different between the 99-03 and the 05-06 grille?

Not trying to hijack the thread, but since everyone here is talking grills and such, would someone happen to have an '02 style oem chrome grill and perhaps even a bumper? I have an '06 front bumper and grill, and may end up going back to original. Thanks!

I've got the 2003 grill in the picture above for sale. It's dirty only because I drove down a muddy dirt road the day before. If you want, I'll post some clean pictures when I get a chance. It's in great shape

Would putting on an 05+ front bumper on eliminate the need for the trimming? Would it then just bolt up?
