Question power mirror removal, help please

I currently have the sport mirrors and I am buying the tow mirrors. I have tried removing the mirrors that are on my truck, but I can't get them off. Could someone point me in the right direction on the removal of the mirror assembly?

take off the door panel and there are three nuts on the backside of the door skin, 11mm if i remember right. take them off and disconnect the electrical connector you will be able to see and ithe mirror will come right off
