08 mirrors. Quick question!

More like I will possible get set of 08 mirrors off from 08 f250 for my 2002 f250. It is company truck where I work and their 6.4 powerstroke motor blew up and mirrors are still in good condition and one mirror has crack on it. Which I can fix that. So I could get them for free because truck is going to the auction. Now my question is I know that it will fit on my 2002 with a little trimming but will my old mirrors fit on 08 with out problem? Let me know ASAP. I might swap them out tomorrow while I'm at work.

If the '08 bolt pattern is the same, then yeah. Which, if all that is needed is trimming for fit, then the bolt pattern is the same. Pop one off of each truck and test fit.

Search the website, I was looking to do the same thing and found a good sticky on one. It gave pictures and a good explanation. From what I gathered from it, the installation is not complicated but it is more difficult of the mirrors are power.

well i figure if 08s fit on 02s with trimming on alignment pins then 02s should fit on 08s just fine might look a little strange but should go on
