Late 99 tow mirrors

Hey all. Ive got a late 99. my question: the small mirror under the main, is that supposed to adjust? mine WILL NOT budge. And its drives me nuts cause their not where I need them........

They adjust. Try harder is the only input I have on it though.

No, they don't all adjust. You have the "gen 1" style. The style after that had a different plug (square I think) than yours, would telescope manually, and the lower mirrors moved (gen 2). Then gen 3's were lighted/heated. But those were on 6.0s.

That is interesting indeed. Every truck I've ever been in that had the convex mirrors had them adjustable.

My original 2000 mirrors did not. However, once replaced by Ford in '08, that one had a movable lower mirror AND telescoped, along with the new connector.

I see.... Hmmm... I guess im just out of luck? Thats pretty stupid to put a mirror on that you cant adjust.... Kinda ticks me off but I guess I'll just have to get those 08 mirrors after all! Lol
