Do '02 Mirrors Retract?

I just got an '02 F250 and would like the mirrors to not stick out so far.

Here's what I've got -
The manual says: "The telescoping feature (if equipped) allows the miror to extend approximately 76 mm (3 inches)."

I'm guessing the previous owner didn't move them for the 11 years he owned the truck.

Do mine look like the type that retract/extend? If they do retract, it's manually, right?

Are these stationary mirrors or do you think they're just stuck and need some lubrication?

Really? Wow.

I live on a narrow, winding road and feel like I'm going to smack the Super Duty mirrors coming from the opposite direction.

Well, I'm glad I asked rather than take my rubber mallet to make 'em move.
