Quick power mirror wiring help?

I'm trying to wire up a set of power mirrors on my dually. Trouble is, the wires coming from the door harness are purple, green, and yellow and the wires on my mirror are red, black, and dark blue. I've been unsuccessful with getting the correct combinations and end up either blowing the fuse or the mirror only wants to go up and to the left regardless of which way I push the switch. Any suggestions?

Here's the link I used for the relays in order to get the 08 mirrors to reverse the operation of the left/right functions and operate properly. It might look sort of confusing, but it was really simple to do.

Wiring fix

As far as the switch wiring(mine already had 7 wires uand fit into the 08 mirror switch). I just added the 8th wire that I took out of the WPT219 that I ordered.

If you flip the switch upside down so that you are looking at where the connector plugs into i will base my colors like this...

Here is how I hooked up the wiring coming from the 08 mirrors to the stock wiring coming from the door.

I could totally be missing it but I'm not seeing a situation in your post like the one I have? I have just regular old non tow power mirrors. No defroster, auto folding, telescoping or any of that jazz. Just a 3 wire hookup for adjusting the mirror up down and side to side. I don't have any special wires with lines, dots, or tracers. Here's what I'm working with:

Truck Wires:
Green
Yellow
Purple

Mirrors that I'm installing wires:
Red
Black
Dark Blue

I'm just trying to figure out which color goes with which color. I don't understand why the colors are different anyway.
