Pics of exhasut dump in FRONT of rear wheel?

I got a SS 4" dp coming... and, I am thinking about just dumping the exhaust out in front of the rear wheel...

But, not sure if I wanna cut a hole in the bedside, and run the pipe through that, or, just, under and tucked...

It will be stainless, and I will polish it...

Was thinking about the doing something along the same lines. I personally think it will look extremely tight. Was thinking of doing 5" though, but would really like to see it on a truck first before I drop the bucks.

The disadvantage of dumping it right in front of the rear wheel I would believe the gases in the exhaust would dirty your wheel, and lead to faster corrosion.

I know this... but, the flip side to that is,

I run a polished aluminum wheel, so... its a matter of keeping it polished... which... eh...

Trying to find a set of stockers, preferable alloys, for other things...

I dont really think the soot will have much of an effect on the rubber... as it should be cool enough by that point...

I have been going back and forth on getting stacks... and, for now, think I am just gonna do this...

I cant find any decent pics of a supercab, with miter stacks... so...

Mine is in front of the rear tire and doesn't get the wheel black nless you go a few weeks without washing it. It doesn't just automatically black out the wheel.

That looks sweet, but cutting it through the side would be SWEET

I would just dump it in front of the tire. It will black the side of your truck, unless you turn it down, but no biggy. You can go with a 45* bend and use a miter cut tip on it or use a 90*, either way. I have seen both and they look pretty good, but I like the 45 better. I use two 45's and a 5" turn down, but you cant see mine because of the side boxes. I don't see a need for the extra pipe going over the rear anyway. Try it and if you like it, then cut the bed. It would look cool, I'm sure.

Yep, like it, looks good...

Gonna be a pain to get it looking nice, as, NO ONE around here has anything to bend anything bigger than 3 inch... and NO mandrels in the area period...

I think a 5 inch tip would look good....

AND, I am really thinking about it coming through the bedside, I have those chrome rocker things, and, would make clean-up pretty easy.... but, be a little more permanent..

Going through the bed would be trick, but really makes things messy when or if you want to change it. I am heading for this install to be a "cheaper" alternative for a custom system as I know exactly what I want and no one makes it.

Well, really not TOO concerned about it, as I got some dings on the bedsides, and was looking into changing over to fiberglass fenders, front and rear...

I would rather do this NOW...

BUT.... I need my down pipe to come in first... speaking of which.. gotta figure out where it is...
