i have a billet insert in my grill but it looks like crap, has since the day i put it in. would like to see some pics of different grill options. i don't want to do an 05+ swap as i like the 99-04 front ends. i like the looks of the fat billet bars but want the ford emblem. so, looking for pics

What I'm going to do is paint mine solid white with the silver for the 2 tone on the inner bars and vertical side vents. I turned my ford emblem into a monster logo earlier.

The silver will go on the inner horizontal bars and the chrome with be sanded and colored. It's fading anyway. Sand thoroughly, good primer, several coats of rustoleum white enamel and several coats of clear after the color and it should hold up fine. Just take your time. I thought about an 05 swap too but I'm like you. I may do the headlights though. Those are nice and you can do the bake method for white lenses.
