I recently purchased this truck off JMart from Plano, TX. He's the one that shortened it, lowered it, and shaved everything.

I'm currently in the process of tearing it down for a c-notch, 4-link, full air-ride, and custom interior......

I like the flat black look, but I don't know about plasti dipping the whole thing. My roof is plasti dipped and I had my tailgate done for a little while. But unprotected it peels easily. I did my bumper, steps, mirrors and door handles but sprayed a clear over those. Much more durable like that. I want to do line x body armour on the whole truck.

I feel like only a few cars can pull off flat black, and fewer trucks... I really didnt think id find one that looked good but man that 2nd post can really sport the flat black.

I just dont think I could pull flat black off

Re: flat black trucks

I agree. On my truck I just don't think I'd like it. The cab really isn't that bad just minor issues. Bullet hole in the hood, couple chips here and there, and pulled some molding off and cracked the clear in a few places. I got a buddy who paints, told me if I helped with the prep he could do it real cheap.

Not the best looking vehicle I've owned (yet) and its had some minor mechanical issues (truck was pretty much abused before I got it), but I swear its my favorite vehicle I have ever owned lol
