grill guard mounts

I was wondering if I have a 2001 f250 could i use a bumper replacement grill guard that is made for a 1998 f250

Depends on what year truck it's coming off, Ford didn't make a regular 98 F250. If your talking about a OBS grill guard for the 97 and below trucks, then not without a bunch of work. If your talking about a SD grill guard for a 99-04 then yes. Then there was the F250 light duty which was basically a F150 with 7 lug axles and was produced in 98 then the answer is no.

well im looking at an 1992-1998 f250/f350 full bumper replacement grill guard and i was wondering if the mounts would be the same as my 2001 f250

That's sounds like the OBS trucks which ended in 97, not sure why they are listing a 98. The mounts are different, you would have to build your own.
