Headlights Question

Hey Guys,
I want to upgrade my headlights to the 2005-2007 style, I saw these headlights on ebay and I love them. They are Harley Davidson style, but all gray casing. Also it is Xenon HID Lights. Here is the Link for more information.

Now, It says it is for a 2005-2007 F250. He also has these same headlights on ebay that are for 99-04 that come with the wiring harness adapter (to convert the different style bulbs) BUT they are not the HID lights. I messaged him to see if I could get the HID 05-07 lights, with the wiring harness adapter so they can fit my 02 and he confused me more, basically saying it would not work - I would have to rewire a lot of stuff?

I may be wrong and he may be right but, Can't I just buy the ones that fit 05-07 and just buy the adapter myself somewhere else and they would work? I'm not familiar with the way HIDs work or are hooked up so maybe I am wrong.

I just put in 05-07 headlights and used the HID ballast I had but paid 10 dollars for the 9008 ( i think) bulbs for the 05.
Here is how it turned out, I also cut the header panel and had the 05 grill prior to headlight install.
