Will a 6.5 bed off a 05 f150 fit a 6.5 99 f250 SD?

I don't believe it will. In 04 ford swapped the f150 towards the squarer body style. 99-07 superdutys never changed..

Short answer is No. 1997 F150 bed will not fit 1999-current F250/350 superduty. Body lines are totally wrong.

After 97 the 150s are diffrent from the 250/350s. Older trucks before 1997 could share sheetmetal parts. The shortbeds from F250/F350 superduty trucks from 1999 - 2010 are the same. The 2011-current beds work but body shape around the wheelwells is a little diffrent and the fuel filler door is bigger. Tail lights changed in 2008 but interchange but have diffrent wireing pigtails.

Got it. "Take off" beds are the newer style, so won't work. I'll just keep looking. Thanks guys!
