Bed rust

I'm sure this is a silly question but my bed now is rusting out. I'm looking at getting a new bed for the truck and I was wondering if anyone has found a trick to keep the bed and fenders from rusting out ?

You need to remove the inner arches.
Drill drain holes in them(at least 1")
COMPLETELY paint the backside of the bed skin and arch.
Then GLUE the inner arch back in.


The rot out for 2 reasons.
-When the arches were welded in from the factory, the primer was burned off and left bare metal to rust
-Dirt and salt make their way on top of the arch. it then says wet and ACCELERATES the rust.

You need to have NO bare metal and a way to CLEAN
