Running board courtsey lights

I have a 2000 f-250 crew cab and i am looking to install running board courtsey lights that only come on when the door is open. My question is where do i tap into for power?

the 2009 Harley Davidson F-450 has that feature...maybe someone with that truck can chime in...if not, the stealership should be able to tell you and give you a diagram printout.

Tap into the dome light wiring it's behind the headlamp switch just pop the switch out and the wires are there I believe it's a brown wire for the dome lights they only come on when either switched on or the Door is opened. I used that wire for my remote start and my clearance lights underneath.
