Bed questions

So My truck was in a minor accident...she got rear ended at a light. Their insurance company cut me a nice check. Now I could have the body work done and the new bumper and tailgate...or I have another option. There's a truck accessory shop in town that has a complete new take off bed with gate and bumper that he will install for a total of 1350 out the door.

Here's the thing...it's off a 2012. Now he tells me it will work no problem. I don't doubt it will bolt up but I'm concerned about 2 things. The fuel filler neck and the tail lights. Is the neck long enough or whatever to bolt up? Also with the reverse lights up top will my pig tails still lock in and will the be long enough?

Thanks in advance.

the filler neck you can always get a longer piece of rubber to make up for it. the tail lights, the bulb for the break lights/turn signal is the same as your truck so you can re-use that. the reverse light socket is different.

Has anyone already done this and can tell me if they had either issue?
