F250 oem harley headlight install problem!

So I am doing oem headlights but the connector and plug are totally different for my 99 turn signal the plug won't plug in for the new one. Also the old one won't fit into the new bulb housing am I the only person with this problem on the turn signal socket? I'm looking at getting a pigtail to go into the new bulb socket but didn't find any at autozone. Might still me oem only I guess?

Its been so long since I did this.

Its supposed to be plug and play. Some part of me wants to say that I had to go to for to get different bulb holder thingys and that solved my problem.

Someone will chime in.

Not sure if the 99's were different from other years, but I've got OEM Harleys in my 04 and the turn signal socket was the same only the headlight was different 9007 vs 9008

Well they do fit but they are not the right plug but work. I must have just needed to do it without trying to hold the headlight at the same time. Now to get my fog lights put in!

What'd you pay for the OEMs? I need to replace one of mine due to some a-hole decided it needed a nice big key scratch in the middle of the pass. side.
