Will a 2005-2007 f250/350 grille fit in a 99-03 header panel? ive heard that the 05-07 header panel isnt required for the conversion.

It will but the 99-03 panel needs to be modified to fit the headlights.

the reason the 05-07 grill isnt a direct swap is because of the bumper. it has nothing to do with the header panel. the 05-07 grill is longer height wise. to get it to fit a 99-04 you need to trim the bottom on the grill. which unfortunately loses the clips along the bottom. to remedy this people use zip ties along the bottom after trimming.

Thanks guys. Im stuck. Removing the stock headlights are a pain. There seems to be 2 metal clips on top of the headlights and i have no idea how to get them out. Any tips?

be careful, it has been awhile since i changed to the 02-04 headlights, so i cant remember off hand exactly. here you go...

MKM Customs (sinisterdiesel.com) sells a modified 05-07 grill that is a direct bolt into 99-04 Superduty's. Just installed one and like the updated look. $199 plus shipping.
