05 - 07 True HID headlights kit

I didn't want to hi-jack anybody's thread on headlights for the 05 - 07 front ends. After looking at HD headlights I ran across these folks at The Retrofit Source. A true HID seller and has what looks to be a very nice setup that would work fine in the 05 - 07 setup.

Has any Forum member done this mod yet with the FX-R Stage III kit into a 05 headlight package? You have to heat the OEM headlight assembly in an oven to get the silicone sealant around the 2 plastic pieces (black base/clear lens) seperated. Then you can mount the projector unit into the OEM headlight assembly. Low/high beam setup with the 1 bulb and another HB lamp can be added if you want. Should light up the road if you happen to be in BFE land at night.

Thanks layson for the link for the conversion, nice looking truck also in your avatar. Will have to look at the setup to see what it looks like without cutting up the assembly as did the OP of the conversion thread. Many Thanks again layson for the link.
