Exhaust Question

Can you put a 6 inch straight pipe with an 8 inch tip on a late 99 f350? I have a magnaflow 4 inch straight pipe with a 5 inch tip now. I don't have a spare tire and I ahve a 4 inch lift so I would think there would be plenty of room. How much a difference of noise would it make? There is a lot of cummins around here with 6 inch straight pipes and they sound amazing compared to all the ones with 4 inch.

You won't get anything bigger than a 4inch DP in there, but from the DP back you should be good.

as long as you dont need a spare it should fit from the dowpipe back like the op said.
you will have to custom make the system however, havent seen any 6 inch kits for 7.3's
