Harely Edition headlights: ebay knock offs vs oem

so i want harely lights for my 2000, my question is should i get oem harleys and change the harness and cut the header panel, or buy the knock off ebay harleys that apparently hook right up to the 99-04 header panel no modification needed? my worry is the quality of the lights, oem ford lights are obviously a good quality light, but the ebay ones have me worried about moisture and fitment issuses, so im wondering if any has any imput to share.

thanks

Get OEM and spend the extra time and do it right. ebay knock offs are cheap and typically have a softer plastic for the lens which will pit and discolor easier than oem.

You'll also spend $500-$600 on OEM.

I have eagle eye brand which require cutting the panel and the adapter harness and had them over a year with no discolor no fogging up or moisture of any kind so far they were purchased of eBay for 170 I believe with the adapter harness

My "knock offs" have been great and haven't discolored or pitted.

eBay ones I have. The reflector dome broke off one inside so headlight would flicker from the engine vibrations. I had a new one at my door in 5 days but I had to pay 10 for shipping.

Other then That there great
