Nice. I bought some spider led bulbs and use them in my stock, smoke lights. i love them. After having a 150 set of lights that the leds started going bad on, I will never buy another set like that again. I paid like 25 for the bulbs, and if they burn out, I'll buy another set.

I bought mine off of ebay with the "high flux output LED's" - which are still garbage 2003 LED technology compared to the 5050/3528 SMD led's out now. The lights look exactly the same as Recon - probably the same Chinese manufacturer. I had to solder in 6 rectifier diodes though, because the running lights were so bright it looked as if I was braking all the time, and when I did brake the change wasn't much. They look great now, and have had zero issues so far. Think I paid $150 for everything, including the load resistors.

im not sure what brand these are, they were on it when I got the truck. I like the 3rd brake light, the clear lights really light up the bed when a door opens.
Not very good pictures but it turns out I don't have many pictures of the rear of the truck...

A bodyshop can do them. They use something mixed with black paint to thin it out, I forgot what it was called. After they are done with the paint, they can clear coat them. I had this done on my supra. It was far superior to anything you can buy off the shelf. Here is a pic, I has all the light done, you can go as dark as you want also.

nightshade is a product that you can buy to tint your own tail lights, from what i have heard it is a decent product and then you can buy clear coat and do the whole thing yourself. if you want a different style of tail light then i know the recon ones are good, yes they are a bit pricey but imo you get what you pay for.
