Front Bumper question

Do they make a solid chrome bumper for 02 f250? If so, where do you get one?

You can't. At least not OEM. They were sold as part of the "Platinum" edition and as such are not available for purchase from the dealer. Mostly because the bumpers have probably been discontinued, but even when they were in production you needed a VIN number from a Platinum package truck to get one.

There may be aftermarket reproduction versions available.

Can't you just take the black plastic liner off the bottom of the bumper? I'm pretty sure you can. Someone here on the forum did that. He posted/commented on a thread in this section about it. I've also seen a couple trucks with just the chrome bumper for sale in my area. All you have to do is take the plastic bottom half of the bumper off I believe. Cruise this section and you'll find the thread somewhere. I dont think its that old of a thread either.

Bummer, that stinks that they don't make oem ones. I've looked at just taking the black valance off, but the bumper is slotted for the valance clips and I think that would look bad. I will look into aftermarket ones, and look through the threads and see what I can find. Thanks for the input guys. Much appreciated!
